The snow is gone, spring is on its way, and it's time for change.  With our recent flood in the child care building and the "Cube", we are making changes as to the use of the facilities.  The renovations are almost complete and we'll soon be back into the areas affected by the flood.  Out of hard things, come good.  Plans for the Cube include moving the 2-3 year old classes over from the child care.  The Art Room will continue to be used as such, which makes our Art teacher extremely happy.  Next year, plans are in the works for a 2 and 3 day 3 year old pre-school program.

Our Night of the Arts was once again a great success.  Renee' Richardson does a marvelous job with all the different ages - K-4 through 8th grade.  They do watercolors, oils, clay, and many other medias.  This year, with Rebecca Moore back with us, the music was wonderful.  We can sing, dance, and play various types of instruments.  A band was added to the school this year.  Thanks to a great donor, Dr. Unruh, and the Oregon Community Foundation for the new Orff Instrument set.  What a great addition to our music program.

What does the future hold?  As one of the Board members suggested, why don't we just build right where we are instead of moving.  We own our child care facility and property, so let's just build up.  After talking with our architect, they also like the idea.  So imagine, 2 or 3 years down the road, we'll be in our own place and not paying any more rent.

I'd like to leave you with this thought.  What we produce is much better than what we look like on the outside.
